Professional Background

I am a professional test pilot with experience in the Air Force and Boeing and currently have my own flight test company, Aeronautical Test Services. Additionally, I hold 9 world aviation records in the B-1B Bomber aircraft. Further, I am still actively flight testing airplanes and helicopters.

Spiritual Journey

As my book biography indicates, I have no formal theological background. Raised in a protestant family and married to a catholic, I didn't embrace the Bible as Truth until I was 40 years old. Since then, I have read the Bible daily and attended many Bible Study groups.

The recurring theme of the Assurance of Salvation was pervasive in those groups. However, I maintained that the Bible did not support that doctrine. I was in the minority. However, I felt compelled to write a book to refute this doctrine and expose its spiritual dangers.

Writing the Book

After four years of study and one year of writing, 'The Hope Of Salvation' was published by Xulon Press. It has been republished by two other companies. Then in 2020, I republished it through Ingram Spark. Researching and writing the book made me realize the Bible is absolutely essential to a person's Salvation.

A Note on Marketing

I didn't know much about marketing the book, so I was vulnerable to companies that take advantage of new authors. They were able to extract large sums of money from me without any positive results in book sales. So, I stopped responding to these 'fleecing' attempts.

I rather adopted the attitude that if God wants people to read the book, He will make it happen. If not, then so be it.
